Suit up! It's gonna be LEGENDARY!!

This title is directly taken from the most famous lines from a new TV show I've just discovered : How I Met Your Mother.
In this series, a 2030 Ted Mosby tells his kids (an the audience) about his life in 2005, when he decided he was ready to find a woman to love and settle with.
The story is told in flash-backs and with a voice-over provided by the very funny Bob Saget.

In 2005, Ted lives with his best friend, Marshall, called Marshmallow by his fiancée Lily whom he calls Lilypad; and is often embarked against his will in his other best (or so he thinks) friend's Barney strange but never boring adventures.

Dans le premier épisode (pilote), Marshall demande Lily en mariage, ce qui chamboule l'univers de Ted et le pousse à se remettre en question. Un peu plus tard dans la soirée, il rencontre dans un bar la superbe Robin, une Canadienne fraîchement arrivée dans la ville, qui le ramène chez elle et…c'est là que commence le suspense ;)

Lily is portrayed by Alyson Hannigan -remember Willow from the Buffy fame- and Barney by Sean Patrick Flannery -Dr. Doogie, anyone?- and both of them show a remarkable comedic talent.
However, the award goes to Barney who steals the show with his unabashed approach to life and women, and of course his gimmicky lines : "Suit up!", "It's gonna be…wait for it…yes! LEGENDARY!" , and the perfect pick-up line for your friends : "Haaave you met Ted?!"

Bien sûr, c'est à regarder de préférence en VO pour ne rien manquer, en particulier les jeux de mots savoureux ;)
Pour ceux qui n'ont pas le choix, c'est en ce moment en VF tous les dimanches après-midi sur Canal +.
